ARCHAN SHAH, PT, DPT

Archan Shah is a licensed physical therapist. He graduated from The Infant Jesus College of Physical Therapy, Bangalore, India with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (BPT). He earned his Master of Science (MS) in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation in 2010 from City University of New York, Brooklyn College. His continued endeavor to acquire more knowledge for better service of patients took him to Utica College to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2013. Prior to joining First Class Physical Therapy, PC in 2010, he had completed an internship at Vadilal Sarabhai Hospital in India, where he received extensive clinical experience in orthopedic and neuromuscular rehabilitation, dizziness and balance disorders, cerebral palsy, sports injuries, and acute and sub-acute post-surgical physical therapy. Through his experiences, Archan gained exposure to treating patients of all ages including toddlers. Archan applies the most suitable strategy for each patient. He combines hands-on physical therapy treatment techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue, and neural mobilization with functional exercise to achieve the best possible outcomes for each individual. Archan also possesses extensive knowledge in McKenzie and Maitland manual techniques, and this has helped his patients to progress up to their fullest potentials and restore their functions. His compassion, dedication, and commitment have caused patients and their families to return to him for care.
